Requirements

A Grade 10 or ABET (NQF level 2) certificate and a driver’s license. A minimum of one (1) year driving experience in corporate driving will be an added advantage. Skills and Competencies: Sound organizational skills, Good people skills, Basic written Communication skills, Computer literate (MS Office), Good Communication skills, Report writing skills, listening skills, Problem solving and Analysis, Time Management, Client Orientation, Customer Focus. Knowledge of the procedures to operate the motor vehicle, prescripts for the correct utilization of the motor vehicle and procedures to ensure that the motor vehicle is maintained properly. Flexible, Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, Creative and innovative, Confidence, Team work, Accountability and Attention to detail.

DUTIES

Perform messenger functions: Sort and arrange correspondences in the registry, record and control correspondence register, sort mail, files, documents and parcels, record contents and physical addresses in the delivery book/register. Gather and distribute mails and files: Collect, distribute and
circulate correspondences (mail, parcels, documents and files), collect and deliver mail, files, documents and parcels to/from addressor, collect sealed and addressed items, ensure that the recipients sign on the delivery book/register. Perform general office assistant tasks, make copies, fax and shred documents,
handle routine and ad-hoc administrative tasks i.e. collect office consumables, ensure proper and secure control over movement of documents, maintain accurate and up to date schedule trip sheets i.e. log official trips. Monitor the State of the vehicle: Ensure that state vehicle is roadworthy, report any
accidents and incidents on the vehicle’s conditions report, issue the officials with trip authority and book vehicle for service.
