Key Responsibilities
Training Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate employee training sessions (online and in-person).
- Track attendance and monitor completion of training programs.
- Update the Learning Management System (LMS) with new courses and participant progress.
- Manage and coordinate all training needs (planned and ad hoc).
- Arrange transport for KC employees attending training when required.
2. Capability Framework Management
- Maintain and update capability matrices for all departments.
- Ensure alignment of capability requirements with business objectives.
- Support managers in identifying skill gaps and creating development plans.
3. Reporting & Documentation
- Generate weekly and monthly training reports for leadership.
- Maintain accurate records of certifications and compliance training.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- Ensure system compliance and upload skills development data in KC systems.
- Maintain and update physical filing systems and employee files with all documentation.

4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate training schedules and capability updates to employees.
- Liaise with external training providers for specialized programs.
- Support HR and department heads with capability-related queries.
- Work closely with Heads of Departments regarding team development plans.
- Work closely with KC contractors regarding their training requirements.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Review feedback from training sessions and recommend improvements.
- Research new learning technologies and methods.
6. Additional Key Contributions
- Successfully managed the Employee Bursary Program (2025) and Dependent Bursary Program (2025).
- Currently coordinating the Career Expo for 2026 at Epping Plant
- Supported internal and external audits and compliance checks.
- Assisted with New KC employee onboarding.
- Managed budgeting and spending for training initiatives.
- Raised Purchase Orders (POs) on Coupa and worked closely with all onsite KC contractors regarding training requirements.
- Ensured legal statutory licenses of employees are up to date and renewed before expiry.
- Assisted the Plant Admin team with plant events and ensuring smooth operations.
- Handled day-to-day administration of Training and Development and assisted employees with queries.
- Provided support to other sites (Entsra and Bryanston) when needed.
- Updated and developed compliance training (internal and external).
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- A Diploma or Degree in:
- Human Resources Management
- Industrial Psychology
- Training & Development
- Organisational Development
- Basic knowledge of HR processes
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Understanding of training coordination principles
- Exposure to HRIS systems (advantage)
