Key Responsibilities
- Technical Drawings: Prepare and revise detailed technical drawings, layouts, and schematics using CAD software
- Design Interpretation: Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and design requirements to produce accurate drawings
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and senior draftsmen to develop accurate project documentation
- Compliance: Ensure all drawings comply with relevant engineering codes, standards, and project specifications
- Documentation Management: Maintain organized records of drawings, versions, and revisions
- Site Assistance: Assist with site measurements and data collection when required
- Project Support: Provide technical support to project teams during design and construction phases

Job Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Diploma or NQF Level 5–6 qualification in Drafting, Engineering Design, or a related field
- minimum 2-3 years relevant drafting experience
- Proficiency and experience in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Inventor
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and technical standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Software experience related to drafting and design systems
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a growing environment
