SABC Learning & Development Internship Opportunities
The purpose of this 12 months graduate programme is to provide support to the Human Resources department to ensure successful implementation of business initiatives or programmes that meet SABC’s objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for those who have completed their HRD Diploma or HRD Degree in industrial Psychologist and looking to enhance their skills and experience in the work environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with internal departments to develop training materials that achieve defined learning outcomes.
- Assist in the design and develop course materials and teaching aids that support content delivery
- Assist in preparing training materials for training inclusive of Trainer guides & Learner guides for different delivery methodologies.
- Assist in revising, modifying, and updating training materials
- Assist in analysing the report of completed training.
- Assist in conducting assessments based on pilot training content, and review developed content.
- Assist in facilitation of training interventions via different learning methodologies.

INHERENT/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- National Diploma and / or Degree in Human Resources Development, ODETDP or Education Technology or relevant field. (NQF6/7)
KNOWLEDGE
- Human Resources Information System
- South African employment/labour legislation and related regulatory frameworks
- Human resources governance, principles, rules, processes and procedures.
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of HR theories and best practices regarding behavioural drivers for improving and sustaining working relationship.
- Thorough understanding and capability in Individual, Team and Organisational Development processes.
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of Emotive, Behavioural and Leadership Development processes.
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of labour relations, coaching, counselling and mentoring theories and best practices, as well as methodologies.
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of Conflict Resolution Processes, (facilitation, mediation, arbitration of individual, team and unions) techniques and feedback.
- Working knowledge of the legislative framework governing human resource practices in the country.
