Momentum Risk Technology Internships 2026

Momentum is looking for unemployed graduates to apply for their Risk Technology Internships, for the year 2026.

Requirements

Candidates must meet at least one of the following

A completed National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Higher Certificate in:
Information Technology
Computer Science
Information Systems
Risk Management, Operations, or a related field (with a demonstrable interest in technology)
Final-year students requiring workplace-based experience will also be considered

Technology Development & Automation

Support the design, development, and enhancement of low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI)
Assist in building model-driven and canvas applications to digitise operational risk processes
Create and maintain automated workflows to improve efficiency and control environments
Contribute to the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports for risk monitoring and insights

Operational Risk & Process Support

Assist in documenting operational risk processes, system enhancements, and control procedures
Support the digitization and optimization of manual processes
Perform data cleaning, validation, and basic analysis to support reporting and decision-making

Testing, Quality Assurance & Governance

Participate in system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and maintain test logs
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system issues under the guidance of senior team members
Ensure adherence to change management, version control, and documentation standards

Documentation & User Support

Prepare and maintain solution design documents, data models, process flows, and user guides
Assist in developing training material and supporting end users during solution rollouts
Provide administrative and coordination support within the technology and risk team

Technical Competencies

Foundational understanding of relational databases, data structures, and SQL queries
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse)
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams)
Analytical skills for data validation, cleaning, and reporting
Basic understanding of programming or scripting concepts
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) principles
